Camellia ePUB ì Paperback camellia book, Camellia eBookLesley Pearse's novels are big and long and extremely powerful After reading one of her books I have to think about what I've just read They are so powerful because they follow all of the ups and downs in someone's life and they look at everything Camellia is extremely strong because it follows how a young girl Camellia can be influenced into taking strong drugs also it shows how she gets left in the lurch from it I found it uite upsetting and I found myself attached to the character I really love the way that Pearse writes with honesty and I know that she writes from experience in her own lifeReally eye opening story and I would recomend it to everyone who wants an engaging story

Camellia ePUB ì Paperback camellia book, Camellia eBookIt took me to page 250 something before I even realised the connection between this book and EllieIt started off good and interesting and seemed to get better the I read but then it began to dip and it just dragged on and on and on The story of Camellia and her true past with her mother etc has to come out at some point but i got so bored reading all the drivel beforehand just like in Ellie there was too much needless information about 200 pages too much in factThere were plenty of good characters and it was a good plot but after about 400 pages and Camellia has left yet again she seems to do a lot of running and leaving people behind wondering about her I started to skim over slot of it through tedium and couldn't wait till I'd finished itThe ending was good in one aspect but then in the other it was crap really after all that drama for that to be the outcome was ridiculous

Camellia ePUB ì Paperback camellia book, Camellia eBookI do enjoy these comfort reads It was a little arduous in parts and the sex inclusion was surprisingly vivid The story shows that reaching a dead end can bring new life because we are forced to ask bigger uestions and to look for larger truths

Camellia ePUB ì Paperback camellia book, Camellia eBookFor me the first half ish and second half of this book are almost two different books altogether So attempting to not reveal spoilers the first half of the book is fairly grim not the writing I mean the events in Camellia's life I found the nature 'certain scenes' way to graphic for me To be honest if the book had continued in this manner I would have stopped re

Camellia ePUB ì Paperback camellia book, Camellia eBookI love this book because it's all about what it was like to be a young hippie in London in the 60s and 70s something I am strangely fascinated by It's uite well written and really makes you feel like you were THERE without romanticizing it or playing down the sordid aspects Of course the second half of the book where she renounces her aimless hippie life and goes on a uest to discover The Truth About Her Mother and make of herself etc etc is not as good but still I love it
